Writing in the cyber space has never occurred to me before the Online Writing class in Graz. I have never thought of my self as an online writer; I only used one “internet social tool” and that was Facebook, because all of my friend had one. However I had heard about other similar “tools” but was never really interested how they work and if they were useful.
Then came the “online schreiben” class. When I was reading the goals for the first class I was like…what?!… and I could not believe that we would be learning how to use Twitter. As the classes continued I became more comfortable with “tools” such as Twitter, blogs and Google Reader. Now I can see that nowadays you can not live without them, or at least not using on of them, because you have to stay connected! You have to be online or else you do not exist in the cyber space. I know it is kind of a harsh statement but it is the truth.
So to expand my “cyber life” I have decided to be more active in online writing, to get to know more about it and to use it more efficiently. My goal is also to write more qualitatively and research more.
As for the “online schreiben” class…please don’t make me twitter anymore!
